If drinking gets out of hand I would say that it is definitely worse than pot. However, at the casual levels, pot seems to have a worse effect. I know quite a few people who drink quite regularly, and I also have friends that smoke regularly. The smokers are far more addicted than the drinkers, and it affects their lives more than it does for the drinkers I know. While there is technically nothing in pot that makes it addictive, it is certainly a very addictive substance psychologically.

I used to smoke a ton in high school and I'd get all kinds of energy. I don't smoke much anymore, though, because although it enhances things like TV, movies, and games, I get tired for several hours and cannot function. The negatives outweight the positives.

Keep in mind, I still staunchly defend an individual's right to smoke bud, and it has a ton of positive effects, especially when I'm composing music. It's just not something I can do regularly anymore.

At any rate, I wasn't planning on smoking unless someone brought some by. I ended up falling asleep at 10 AM and sleeping til 6 PM, missing 4:20. However, I still have 4 and a half hours left in the day, and my sister did something nice for once and brought me a couple small buds of chronic.

I'll have enough for a couple bowls, which should be more than enough for me, and then I can play Tiger Woods, watch South Park, and possibly annoy Craven on Halo 2. Like I have anything better to do.
