Playboy Pics to Go on Portable PlayStation

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Owners of the new PlayStation Portable handheld video game player can now take adult magazine Playboy on the road with them -- and they don't have to bother with the articles.

The online arm of Playboy Enterprises Inc. (NYSE:PLA - news) on Wednesday said it will offer photo galleries and videos shot and edited specifically for the PSP.

Playboy said it has shot a "sci-fi themed" spread of model Amy Cooper that was formatted for viewing on the PSP's wide-angle screen.

Playboy said "PlayboyStation Portable" is available for free, in the form of two non-nude picture galleries and one free video. Subscribers to Playboy's online service can access premium nude content.

The company last year created an "iBod" feature formatted for Apple Computer Inc.'s (Nasdaq:AAPL - news) iPod photo digital music player and picture viewer.

Sony Corp. (6758.T) released the PSP on March 24 in North America, and it sold more than 600,000 units in a week.

Well think of it this way, if anyone ever comes up with a way to costomize the back grounds there'll already be something you can use.
