well, i finnaly broke down and bought a PSP. I get home and open up the box, everything looks excellent, but right when I take out the PSP i notice this circular scratch on the left side of the screen. There is also another small one at the top, and a dead pixel in the lower right hand corner. I knew right then I was taking it back, but i still took a look at it. So i watched a game trailer and watched some spider man 2 on it for about 10mins. The thing blew me away with the picture quality, and i felt very unsecure sitting there with this thing in my hands. So tommorow I have to go return it and get another one, just wish me luck that I get a good one :( .

maybe the next one you have will have a DS instead ;)
i remember long ago I bought the ninja turtles fighting game on SNES and it was actually some wierd version of Mario Brothers inside. The Cartridge itself was still ninja turtles though O.o strange

I am interested in hearing more about this...
Most likely some guy bought the turtles game swapped internals on teh cartridge and then reshrunk wrapped it.

My girl works at Activision, and someone wrote in saying they bought Shrek 2, but the actual game was Ghost Recon or something. I don't know if the disc said Shrek 2 on it, but that was pretty weird.

Well I exchanged it, and got one with no scratches. But I did notice I have about 4 dead pixels scattered around the screen. But after watching the sample movie, and some of the sample game videos, I cant even see them when the system is normal viewing distance away. I can live with some dead pixels, but i just couldnt take a scratch. So I am going to keep this one, and just live with it. Tommorow i will be picking up a game, but which one do you guys think I should pick up out of these three?

I really cant decide on which game I want.

What i think i will do though, is around this november I will get my replaced by sony by using the warranty. This way I will mostly get a new screen sence they have to fix the dead pixels and I am sure my screen by then will have alot of scratches and that will get fixed with it. And hopefully by then sony will have their act together with making these things and I wont have to worry about getting one that has dead pixels and shit.
