View Full Version : How can I tell if my PSP will come with Spiderman 2 UMD?

I plan on buying a PSP today, but I want to make sure I get the Spiderman 2 UMD since I have to buy the "Value" pack. Anyway to tell from the outside of the box? Does it say "Includes Spiderman 2" or something?

I'm not sure but I think the Spiderman 2 UMDs stopped shipping with the PSP a few eeeks ago... good luck though.

Yeah, the Spider-Man 2 UMDs were only with the first shipment. Good luck trying to find a pack with one, though.

It will have a sticker that says:
INCLUDES:
Spider-Man 2
Movie
PLUS: game/music/movie
video sampler disc
If It has spiderman 2 in it. Good luck finding one at this point, though. It was only the first 1 million units shipped. Without it, the "value pack" becomes even less of a value, sadly.

However, when I picked up mine on launch day, the EB clerk opened the box to double check the Spidey UMD was included. She said there were some reports of the UMD missing from the packs that were supposed to include it.

They were only in the first million (something like that). Good Luck finding one as most stores now have been stocked with second shipment now. In my town, none are available with Spidey 2(i.e. Walmart, Target, CC, BB, EB, GS, CompUSA).

Shortly after tehy were released I contemplated picking one up at Target.
I had it in my hand and noticed I could see the UMD from the side of teh sealed box. Like tehy stuck it in after the box was sealed. Every other one on the shelf had the same thing.
Check retail stores like Walmart/Kmart/ Target etc.
They probably still ahve some old stock around.
I know my walmart does.

There is a silver sticker on the box that says, "included, spider man 2 movie".

I was at my local Walmart 2 days ago and they have them. Everytime I go there I have them take one out of the case so I can hold it in my hands. I can pick one up for you if you want it.

I had a local shop selling them for $189 complete with a case just yesterday...
*edit* These were used by the way.

I wish I could of found a used one. I did find one with Spiderman 2 after going to about 10 different stores, my local Toys R Us ending up having one. I bought Lumines with a giftcard my uncle gave me for Easter and I'm happy. Lumines is awesome.

i got lucky and found one at my target yesterday and got it. I wasnt gonna get the PSP if i didnt get spiderman 2 with it

I already bought my PSP with Spiderman. :roll: I had never seen a PSP in stores before I went to go buy mine. Why don't you do us a favor and stop bumping up all these old PSP topics.

Well not only does he resurrect a 2 week old dead thread.. he does it by answering a question that has been answered about half a dozen times already in the thread... now that is quality bumping. :roll:

i was kind of sad when i opened by psp box and it didnt have spiderman 2 in it. and i bought mine like 3 or so weeks ago. so if you are buying it right now, i can almost guarantee you that it won't come with spiderman 2. you can find spideman 2 at some local game shops that take it in and its not that expensive.

The Spiderman 2 UMD Movie is coming out to retail stores in a week or 2 and since it is Sony, you should be able to find it for under $15.
