OK- got this funky Nyko dealie thing from my sister's fiance today (from the goodwill bin.) After a bit of fiddling, I fgured out it's a Gamecube accessory- it's got lil slots for 4 memory cards and 8 or so flip-out disc holder dealies. Here's the thing- there's also another compartment in the top, and for the life of me I don't know what it's for! The way it's set up, the GC would sit over the door of this spot, so you couldn't actually open it with the GC in place. I thought it might be to accomdate something attached to the bottom of the system, but you can't put the system back with the door open. Anybody got any idea what I'm talking about, and what that hole's for?

Judging by the picture from the link provided by Jobbercho, if the hole is on a lid that opens to reveal a compartment, the hole might be for sticking your finger in so you can use it like a handle to hold the lid and open the compartment.

The thingie in the link is what I have, alright... Is 'secret compartment' all they have to say? It's a pretty lousy compartment then- it's not sized to hold anything game-related at all... so far, marijuana stash spot is the best use named :D

How big is it? It looks big enough from the picture to be able to hold some cable. Perhaps it is to hold the AV cords if you cary it around.

It might, but none of the holes lock except the disc trays, so it'd be hard to do...

It's not even big enough for that! Unless the pics are 2 x 3s, or you fold it in half. *imagines some kid in perma-squint cuz he really did get 2 x 3 pics*

Wouldnt it be just so that the base of the gamecube sits on top flat?
Tried to find a picture, couldnt.
However, I do like the title of the topic, immensely.
