If true, hopefully it'll be for the current XBox. I mostly say that because I still haven't played the first one and a sequel on the way would likely mean a price drop for the original.

they always said there'd be a NG 2 after DOA Ultimate was done...this is not much of a surprise....However, I'm very excited about it.

I can envision this on the next Xbox, but I've be surprised if it came out on the current one.
Sounds like a "killer-app" for Xbox 360.

No ones probably going to believe me, but me and Mafia saw this posted on EBgames for a single day as a pre-order, was shown for 10/?/05. Prolly wont be released then, but EB let the dog out of the house early.

doubt it's a sequel. Itagaki(head developer of NG) said he was working on Hurricane Pack 3 in february. I'm guessing it's NG with all the hurricane packs, with the new one, which will include Kasumi as a playable character. for serious, yo.

Apossum, exactly what I was going to say.T his is Tecmo were talking about. How much with NG delayed? 3-4 times? Same with DOA Ultimate. They delay EVERYTHING. However, a Ninja Gaiden with all 3 Hurricane pack would be awesome, better if its at a $30 or less pricepoint.

Yes...I had both of those games pre-ordered for their original dates-- I think DOAU got
delayed about 8 months, NG by about 6, and then i heard XBV got delayed by 6 months too. those were some painful waits!
so we can look for this between march and may 2006.
but ya know, I was thinking, I'm pretty sure NG is already about 4.3 gigs on disc and that both HPs easily take up more than the rest of the space....HMMMMMmmmmmmmm......double disc set perhaps?

Cool. Either way I'll be getting it. Ninja Gaiden is one of my top 5 current gen games.

I absolutely suck @ ninja gaiden. Took me 2 weeks just to beat that old guy in the beginning, then I gave up on that fat guy on top of the plane

Ninja Gaiden is one of the very few games I enjoyed immensley on the Xbox

they're free downloadable expansions.
Hurricane Pack 1-- added a new weapon, a bunch of new enemies, beefed up AI, and some new moves. a whole bunch of little things changed throughout the game
Hurricane Pack 2- basically a whole new section of the game in the form of an elaborate survival mode. absolutely sick, but also ridiculously hard even for people who are good at NG.

I LOVE Kasumi but wouldn't it make more sense for Ayane to be playable? Or even a sidequest with a playable Rachel?
Ninja Gaiden was a great game and I look forward to whatever will be at E3. Ninja Gaiden and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time are my two favorite games on the Xbox (that don't have Halo in the title).

it's strange. According to the DOA story, from what little shreds of it we get throughout the games, Kasumi should be in ayane's place in NG. but for the way they did it with NG, ayane or rachel would be the next logical character.
but then, i remember hearing somewhere about a definite kasumi tie in to the next ninja gaiden project. i'm just hoping that means she's in this one.

The creator of DOA has been fairly consistent in making great games. So I should expect the "sequel" to be great.

LOL. It took my the first try to beat the fatty on the plane... but it took me a month to beat the first boss (including time spent playing the OXM demo).
