Alright so I singed up for another 2-month trial and called and cancelled my old one this morning. Now is there any way to delete the old one off my Xbox or wil it still be an option in all of my games? Also, how do I switch my new GamerTag to my .NET passport. I tried making a new passport and linking it to the old one but it kept saying my info wasn't valid. Thanks for any help.

Did you check in the dashboard to try and delete it? Not sure...I just pay my money each year.
Don't know about passport account, it was always a mes on my PC....I gave up on it.

you can delete your old account from the memory dashboard, just make sure your select an individual xblive account and not xblive all-together!
Yeah the .Net account linking it goofy. the Xbox site has some info regarding that, but you're best just creating a new account, and linking the new accounts.
Sorry to "steal" a bit of the OP's thread, but I thought it'd be easier to ask in here, rather than making a new thread.
I am getting rid of my Xbox, but may pick one up in the future. (If the Xbox 360 isn't backwards compatible) If I delete my XBL account from my old Xbox, is there a way I can bring it back on the new Xbox? Becuase, I paid for quite a bit of premium content I would want to get back... Do I need a memory card or anything?

Couldn't find anything about premium content. How about this for account recovery?
How to use the Account Recovery feature
The Account Recovery feature allows you to download your Xbox Live account to your console. When you download your account using Account Recovery, all other copies of that account are invalidated. For example, if you saved your account to an Xbox Memory Unit (MU), and you use Account Recovery to download your account to the console, you must recopy your account to the MU before you can use it to sign in again. Account Recovery is useful in the following or similar situations:
You accidentally deleted your account from your Xbox console and want to recover it.
Your account is stored on an MU that was stolen, and you want to invalidate the account to prevent anyone from using that MU to sign in with your account.
You are at a friend's house. You want to sign in to Xbox Live with your own account, but you forgot to bring an MU that you stored your account on.
To use the Account Recovery feature use the following steps or watch the video demonstration.
Video: How to use the Account Recovery feature (http://support.microsoft.com/servicedesks/ShowMeHow/smh121103.asx)
Step-by-step instuctions:
On the Xbox Dashboard, click Account Management.
Click Account Recovery.
You will receive the warning message: "Caution: If you recover an account, disconnected copies of the account will no longer work". This warning message is expected.
For security purposes, you must provide the following information to continue:
Gamertag
Credit card information (cardholder name and full credit card number)
Phone number
Postal code
Important This information must match exactly the information entered when you first signed up for Xbox Live. It is possible that some information may not match. For example, if you previously entered “Lane” in the street address and now you enter “LN”, account recovery will fail due to this mismatch. Make sure you enter the exact same information that you entered when you first signed up.
Select Continue.
When your information is confirmed, your account is downloaded to the Xbox console.
If you use Account Recovery on someone else's Xbox console, repeat these account recovery steps on your own console to invalidate the use of your account elsewhere.
Note When you download your account to one console, your account is invalidated on every other console at that time. You cannot use one account at two locations at the same time.
How to save your Xbox Live account to your memory unit
To save your account to your memory unit, in the Memory section of the Xbox Dashboard:
Select your Xbox Console (Xbox Hard Disk).
Select Xbox Live Accounts, then select the Live account you want to move.
Go to Copy/Delete.
Select Copy.
Select Memory Unit.

You may want move your content off to a memory card as i don't know how re-downloading premium content works...
However, you can recover your xbox live account on another box. Just go into xbox live, and do a "account recovery", basically you plug in your basic sign up info; cc number, address, phone and POOF! you account's back on - assuming you still have an account.
Account recovery works great for friends that don't have xblive and need the patches or downloads..just move your account to their box, download. Note...only one account can access xblive...so if you're friend's on xblive with your account...you won't be able to get back on yours till their off xblive - so delete your account from their box when your done.

nope...since you don't need to log in to access it (play it).
