I had been looking forward to this since the huge preview article in GameInformer several months ago. Needless to say I was disappointed by the reviews. I don't play online so that glitch didn't affect me, however, I couldn't download the patch to fix the other problems with the game.
There really wasn't anything else I wanted right now, but I picked up Jade Empire Limited Edition. It's fun, but I wanted a good wrestling game. I'm not into RPGs, but I liked KOTOR and I'm enjoying this one as well.
Can anyone recommend Smackdown vs. Raw on PS2? I'm interested in CAW and season story modes only.

HCTP > Smackdown vs. Raw. Seriously.. the story mode is completely linear (from what I remember) and the CAW is less as well. They sacrificed backstage areas (though there's one in SvsR), story mode and wrestlers for online play and a few extra polygons. HCTP is definately better than SvsR.

and aside from having Bret Hart, the roster in HCTP is a hell of a lot better

I put my SVR on eBay, it was fun for a few months and was a nice long rental for me, but HCTP is a better game. The online in SVR is a joke compared to WM, and all the promise/hype THQ put into the online component of SVR was so bleh. You could prolly get a cheap copy of HCTP for $10 or so, It's the best Smackdown out there.
