WRESTLEMANIA 21 online is "fixed"

online is fixed by a download from Xbox Live, you can now play online.

Once online say hello to LAG like a mofo. :hot:

I still like the game it just pisses me off so freakin bad though! Once you get behind in the match your screwed UNLESS the other guy totally blows it. This is because every time you get up even if you get up before the other guy you'll be dazed and unable to defend yourself. So you just get pounded and pounded. Maybe i'm just not good enough at reversals but i've heard many people say the same thing in the matches i've played online.

Couple things i liked online were:
A: ALL wrestlers are unlocked and playable by everyone, no need to have them unlocked in your profile to use them online.
2: If you create the match you can choose to not allow created wrestlers in the match.
G: Pretty much every game type is available online and if you dont have enough people the computer will fill the match up. Although the AI is stupid: I've played 2 fatal 4 way matches (only 2 human players each time) and yet to have the computer come after you once they lock into the other computer fighter even when you try 2 pin they dont try 2 stop it. The first time the AI guy hopped out the ring and the other AI guy chased after they ended up hopping in and out of the ring after each other for the next 6 minutes never catching each other and never stopping to fight the 2 human characters.:bomb:
7: I've yet to play anyone using a rapid fire controller, which was the norm on Smackdown vs Raw even in the first week of release.

One thing to note, if people don't already know : You can't form a tag team with someone else online. You can only be partners with a friend, if they are sitting in the room with you, with their profiles loaded. Otherwise, if you make tag matches, you will end up getting the AI as a tag team partner, unless you plug in another controller, and load another profile.

Interesting, how about guests? 4 player matches i assume would be 1st 2 against second 2?

I played earlier with 3 human players in a tag match, i got the guest of the other player and he got a AI wrestler. I wondered y theu were not on the same team...

Not sure about guests. AI in any match is annoying though, since they don't do anything but run around.

Also a huge negative is people exiting from the match so they don't lose their champioship belts. But, that was to be expected

it's common sense that a thread about a game with 200+ replies is not all about bad reviews, yes? we've been talking about the lack of online, then the patch, now experiences in matches.. check the later pages.

what? wtf are you talking about? four player online matches? you can have a guest on your live account, but a fatal fourway is like any other match.. four different players.. please reword your question in english, I have no clue what you're trying to ask..

You can also have a 3 or 4 way match with 2 human and 1 or 2 CPU players online, I believe. It was thatw ay for the battle royal I was in.

I'm still undefeated... 3-0-6. 4 draws against Scorch, 3 wins and a draw against another friend, and 1 draw against another. Damn draws.

Well I havent had a match with 4 actual people ever since the patch. Its always 2 humans vs 2 cpus.

I dont think you can invite someone while they are in a lobby of their created game.

So it's still crap if I don't have broadband and Xbox Live to get a patch? Makes me wonder if this wasn't a set-up all along. You "have" to get Live if you want a playable version of this game. Considering there's only one broadband provider in my area and it's $60 a month, I'm not buying into this scam. I'm certainly not going to allow the producers of the game to "punish" me and accept a buggy version offline for $50. As stated in my thread, I didn't pick up the copy I pre-ordered. I got Jade Empire even though I really wanted a GOOD wrestling game. Screw Microsoft, THQ, Studio Gigante and anyone else responsible for this piece of crap.

Just looked under the disk just a few min ago. If you put it under some light you can see it was a bad press as you can see ALOT of warps on the disk.
