yea, but its a 3-in-1 battery pack and the chances of the rechargable battery working after not being used once in 5 years is slim and none and that means the only way i would be able to use it is with an ac adapter which isn't convienient for me

I read you can fit one of the afterburner kits for the GBA inside just narrowly cutting of the bottom of the screen. That was back when they were hot though. Maybe try a google search and see what you get.
