I saw what I thought was a playstation 1 today at a flea market but upon further inspection, it was a PRIMA video game console. What the heck was this thing? The guy wanted 15 bucks for it, I checked it out, it had a flip top lid but underneath the lid was a catridge slot. Other than that it really did look like a playstation even the controller was a ps1 style controller but it said PRIMA as well. Also it came with a lightgun I've never seen before,.. weird stuff. I can't find any info in google so maybe you guys can tell me.

I read somewhere during my internet procrastination adventures that there's an NES bootleg that's shaped like a ps1. You lift the lid and a cartridge slot is revealed. That's probably what you saw.

Yeah that really sounds like a bootleg machine that I've seen before multiple times, looks like a playstation but has a cartridge slot.

Just one of those cheap Hong Kong bootleg things. Some plays altered NES games, some play NES carts. Actually, almost all of them has imbedded games. Nothing special and not worth buying.

If its what im thinking of, it is a bootleg system with games loaded on it, but the slot is actually for pirated master system games

most of my flea markets are lucky to have anything nice. I usually end up find 2-3 nes games at the most.

Its a famiclone, they normally come with a famicom multicart with those 100000000000000-in 1 games on it. They normally also play regular famicom games also.
