are any of these new maps smaller? i don't have xbox live and only have a couple of people to play with. the new maps are so huge, which means awesome for xbox, but sucks with two people head to head.

I prefer the smaller maps, since I like close combat. Warlock looks well suited for me, but I didn't like the snow one...whatever it is called. That level is too big. I haven't tried the other two, becuase there's no way in hell I am paying $6 for them...I can wait until they are free!

I wasn't able to get any real high ground in Warlock, whats with everyone liking it? It's small and dull. Midship is not as small but seems alot better.

I picked Containment only because I liked it better then Warlock, It's a nice big map for team games.

I'm not paying for the premimum maps either, I'm gonna buy the expansion pack for LAN parties down the road, as well as download the new maps for free eventually.

I know how you fell, I mean I have XBL but I prefer small maps, so for you ill make a breakdown:

Containment: Im sorry for those whole like this map, this maps the worst out of the new ones, butt its not badd, its HUGE, and I mean huge! Now, the thing is, you NEED to have alot of people inorder to play this map or it will suck, there are a few ways to get the the otehr place and I like how there are alot of vehicles.

Pros:
- Huge
- Tons of vehicles
- lots of good routes and stuff

Cons:
- No snipers
- TOO big
- the mines arent invisible so it is easy to manuver past em

Worth it: Its free...


Warlock

This is my favorite of em all, action packed, just like wizzard, just with a jungle theme.

Pros:
-its wizard

Cons:
- Its not on the playlists yet!!!

Worth it: Its free...

Turf

Awesome map, it is hard to describe tho, but if you like small maps that have alot of entry points and routes to places then this maps is for you.

Pros:
- Small
- fast
- Fun
- Hidden Red vs Blue things
- Tons of routes to get places
- IMO, best map for 1 flag.

Cons:
- Will only be in team preview.

Worth it: Yes, very much.


Sanctuary:

Its sorta small, lots of hiding spots has two sides, sword in the middle

Pros:
- I wouldnt be pissed to get it in matchmaking
- Is small-medium
- Fun

Cons:
- Damn gun turret

Worth it: I only played it once and it wasnt for a long time, but for now, Its just barely making the "worth it."

:lol: Just because you didn't find them doesn't mean they're not there. There is 2 snipers on the map, you just got to look for them. As for it being huge, I believe its smaller than Coag or Waterworks. IMO Containment is the best new map.

There damn well had better be sniper rifles in Containment. There's a perch that's accessible via Banshee that is perfect for sniping.

I only played it once and didn't see any sniper rifles, though. Where are they?

There is a little room that is to the left of the Scorpion spawn. Its about 15-20 feet above the ground. There will be 3 walkways, underneath the most left walkway is a sniper rifle leaned up against it. There is one at both bases. Its sounds harder to find than it really is.

Containment hands down! Nothing like playing capture the flag, trying to get the warthogs past the tanks, and opening the gates before said tank blows you to hell.

everything except warlock, warlock blows. Sanctuary is incredible, and so is Turf. Containment is a really badass map. That tank is a hell of a beast

I now have a different opinion on containment, its teh best map for 16 players.
