View Full Version : Got a used Disgaea for 12.99

I always wanted this game, but well never felt like putting down the full price or the 45.99 for it used.
Well, me and my friend went to EB because he had a defective Suikoden III that he bought from there and was gonna go switch it out. As he was doing that I began looking at the games and saw Disgaea for 12.99
Immediatly I grabbed it, I kept on looking and saw all the other Disgaea that were used were 45.99. So I began looking on the box. Seems they had mispriced it and put on the price tag for a used Tony Hawk Underground game.
This was too good to pass on, so I took it to the register, the guy scanned it, and I paid for it...done deal. Ah yes...I love a good deal.

Nothing, no problem. Transaction went smoothly, I mean even the reciept said it was for Tony Hawk.

Gee, glad to see that EB employee was paying attention there. How you can miss "tony hawk" ringing up instead of Disgaea is beyond me. Congrats on the find though.

Great find OP. But yeah, was the cashier blind? I mean, they are two very different titles!
(And, I have nothing against the blind peoples of this world...I am blind myself!)

Exactly what I had in mind, just too lazy to do any Photoshoping myself. Looks like a work of art to me.

Awsome find. I paid a lot more for it this past weekend. 2 Shin Megami Tenensei Nocturne $85 dollars and I got Disgaea for free. Hopefully I can unload one of those Shin Megami Nocturne.

If you've got an LE, there's nothing to worry about. Still, the non-LE gets a respectable price on eBay. Or trade it here. =)

Now you're part of the limited and elite.
Luckily I found Disgaea for $10 at a pawn shop mint/complete. I didn't even hesitate. And after I bought it, there was another sticker under that one. I peeled the $9.99 sticker off to see $64.99.
So, I saved myself $55.
