RULES & GUIDELINES
*Do not create a topic in this forum if you are not introducing a previously unposted specific deal that is available now or will be available in the future.
If you have a question or want to discuss deals in general, do it here (http://cheapassgamer.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=16).
*Search (http://cheapassgamer.com/forum/search.php) to see if the deal has been posted already.
Duplicate posts will be deleted or locked and may result in your fellow CAGs making fun of you.
*Describe your deal as specifically as possible in your post's title.
This makes your deal easier to find.
Spelling, grammar, and not posting in ALL CAPS makes us feel warm and fuzzy on the inside.
Good topic name: =D>
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (GC) used, $6.74 after coupon at EBgames.com
Bad topic name: [-X
eternal drakness!!! great dealz!!
*If I feel the quality is there, I will post them on the front page and give you credit . You are encourged to post where/how you found the deal.
*Feel free to go back and edit your topic names and posts to reflect the status of the deal. If the deal has died, you can edit the subject title to include "[Dead]".
*In this forum, your post may be edited to make the deal clearer or more specific. If I'm feeling especially motivated, I may even throw in a picture or two. Whenever possible I may edit or include links to include CAG's affiliate link.
*Do not post affiliate links (if you don't know what an affiliate link is, just ignore this) other than CAG's.
*If you are a game retailer or other commercial entity, please contact me first before posting your wares. If you are posting a contest or other promotion for your website, please contact me first before posting here.
*Your personal items for sale/trade and Ebay auctions do not belong in this forum.
This forum is for deals from retailers only. If you do not know what a retailer is, then you are not one.
*No pirating or other illegal activities will take place anywhere on this site.
Thanks! Let's get some cheap games!
Your comments on these rules/guidelines are welcome.

Cool. But this part confuses me.
"Your post may be edited to make it more readable and I may also edit links to include CAG's affiliate link.
Only CAG affiliate links may be posted."
So, how can we post anything if there's not a CAG affiliate link yet?

Great. You should keep this STICKY/PINNED. This'll save all CAGers a lot of time. ^^x

Yeah this part is a little confusing if not then its drastic, if its a deal with a reputable retailer yet not a CAG affiliate we cant post it then.. thats how I understand it.

No, he means that if the retailer is a store in which he's affiliated with (ie, gets a kickback from a purchase made from someone that came from this site), then he'll put the necessary changes in. This is no more than adding a little snippet of code to the link. The 'no other affiliate' bit means that people can't use links in which they themself, and not CAG, gets the kickback. He's not going to delete anyones deals regardless who the retailer is.
I can see the confusion though, I guess.

Good guidelines. Personally, I'd like a before rebates/after rebates price listed on the deals involving them. I'm not one for rebates, but some have good prices before rebates to get excellent ones after.

This post helps a lot. If the deal is not on the WWW (EB, etc.), I would like the location (City, State) added of the deal. Some deals are not in all states. Also, if someone says they have been to my local store and they are out of stock it says the CAG the gas...
Thanks again for the best site ever and congrats on the recognition!

You should somehow link to this page or at least those rules before a newbie can actually submit his first post.

May I ask, as a newbie to the board, what "B&M" and "YMMV" or "M&M" and "TGIF" mean or whatever?
Heh.

Great to see you included guidlines for topic names! You can clearly see the results by looking at these boards.
I am so tired of "OMG!!1! YoU HAVE to CheCK thiz!11!!!" topics I see on other boards.
I understand the rules and I will follow them.
By the way, I love this website.
