Just out of curiousity . . . does anyone know if the Arcade demo has anything playable if you don't have Live? My guess is no.

The last one included the entire version of Mrs Pac Man (MechAssault 2 version)

I don't know about the mechassault version, but my version came with Mrs Pac Man, but you can't play it off the disc. It just enables you a free download of the game. The whole point of live arcade is to enable you to download cheaper arcade, sports, puzzle etc games directly to your HD. So yes, you would need live to get any value from that disc I believe.

A problem I found with the MechAssault 2/Ms. Pac-man demo was that all the copies at my local Best Buy stores were sealed with store shrinkwrap, meaning they used a hair drier to close it up and warped the case sleeves in the process. So much for getting a nice new case for any of your loose game discs.

It comes with the full install of Xbox Live arcade, with Ms. Pac-Man.

And FYI/YMMV, my Best-Buy gave it away for free. The PSU even lists it as "FREE!" on the shelf.

Neither of the 2 closest stores to me had any. Guess they just didn't have them out on the floor yet.

I found a couple beneath a flyer. So you might have to search around. I got one, Ill give Forza a shot, but most of the reason I got it was for the extra case and Live Arcade.

At my store, it's clearly $5 (it's a pre-order and bundled to a pre-order slip). Can't imagine how some are getting it for free.

I can't speak for everyone else but at my store they just had them sitting out, they were with the preorder slips, but there wasn't any signage or indication that you had to preorder to get the disc.

There were none in my store yesterday. But I spoke with a floor manager and he indicated they were being stored somewhere in the back. After 10 minutes of waiting, he said that the guy who put them back there is gone and he doesn't know where they are. So, he told me he'd have one set aside for me to come and pick up today.

My BB had them marked as FREE, but they had opened them and took out the Live Arcade disc.

They're marked as free, but buy something so you won't look so cheap LOL. The Ms.Pacman is supposed to be free, at least it is on the mechassult disc I have.

I got one on Friday from EB and it even says Eb exclusive. It comes exactly the same though w/Arcade disk and everything. So if you can'tfind them at BB check your local Eb.

As an owner of the PAL version of Forza I will say the game blows GT$ out of the water...
I have been having tons of fun with it all weekend and still haven't checked out all the Xbox live stuff

I got it for free but I guess not many people at the store were interested in it because I had to give the guy at the door on the way out a heads up about it. "Oh, this is just a free demo, one of the floor clerks let me have it" and then the guy figures oh, ok.

I'm glad the release got pushed back so much, I'm more or less done with GT4 and looking for something new.

Also, watch out for bozos on the forum looking to sell them for $5 or so. Some joker was trying to do this a couple of weeks ago, and I felt like slapping him upside the head or something. (Must be those violent videogames. . .)

Picked one up today, thanks OP. The cashier scanned it for inventory purposes, she said. Also picked up BG&E for PS2 for $5.35. It was a good trip.

I bought a 99 cent Jampack 11 so as not to be a cheap ass. Okay, that still makes me a cheap ass, but less so than if I just rang up the free demo. ;)

After finding none at four stores, I snagged four copies of this today from one that did (which I am promptly handing out to my friends, I didn't grab them to sell or trade). Gotta love receipts that say $0.00 total. :)
