Even though I really don't care what the name is, I think Xbox 360 is a good way to describe the machine if it delivers on its promises. It implies that the machine can do it all - TV, music, movies, and games.

If their reasoning for the name Xbox360 is that it's BC, that seems kind of lame. So far we know the Revolution is BC and you know Sony will choose to be BC as well. So the 360 wouldn't be saying anything that really seperates it from any other system. At least the N64 had something to say with it's number (something gay anyway). I just hope they don't give games names like "Halo 360".

Who gives a crap? Most system names sound completely stupid at first but once you get used to them you don't give it a second thought. Playstation 2? Dreamcast? Gamecube? Xbox? Colecovision? Atari 5200? They all sound ridiculous.
