repair/replace the N64 analog joystick?

I'm sure this is a well-travelled topic ... does anybody know where to get replacement parts for the N64 joystick?

I'm willing to bet it's just a better idea to get a new controller. But if it's the analog I wonder if an old nes controller could supply the parts?
