mavs lost. O well. They still have best best home record in the league and its been a tight series so I think it could go 2-2 easily

Woohoo... go Kings!

CWebb almost lost the game again thanks to his lame ass foul shots. Still a great game though. I love the Kings and definitely hate the Mavs, but I doubt either will get very far after the first round.

I grew up near Dallas so I am a Mavs fan. I think they may win the series as the kings have looked weak, and Dallas plays solid at home

I thought the WNBA didn't start until the summer? LOLTHEMAVSANDKINGSAREABUNCHOFWOMEN.

Seriously, with all the money Cuban has, why can't he buy anyone that plays defense?

Yeah Kings are definitely weak this year, they've traded away key players from last year's squad and don't have Bobby Jackson coming off the bench.

I think it's pretty much in the air for either team especially with Nelson trying these random lineups that are just confusing his players. I don't think Walker can maintain as center in these types of games.

On a sidenote, how about those two rookies? Even if the Mavs lose this series, Daniels and Howard could be the difference in playoffs to come.

I'm a Mavs fan too. I admit I don't watch them as much as I use to when they were even crappier. A lot crappier. Of course ticket prices are higher now so I haven't been to a game since last year's opener. Man I remember they gave away free Mavs tickets for almost anything back when they sucked to just to fill in the stadium.

Heh... I doubt a WNBA team could score half the number of points these teams put up (well if you ignore tonight's game that is). On second thought those girls could probably shoot a better percentage and free throws due to better 'fundamentals'.

I used to watch them more when they sucked as well. I remember the 3 J's and all that stuff. I only stopped watching sports as much as I used to when I moved to Raleigh about 5 years ago

I think Next year the Mavs will have gelled and traded away some people for a center. Even without a center, they could still win if they begin to get better at defense(they have and they are)

Yeah, they aren't gonna do anything in the postseason until they start to play defense.

Actually, throughout alot of the game I thought the Mavs played pretty decent defense. I would have really really liked to see them steal that game, though. They've always played good at Arco Arena.

But now the series comes back to Dallas, and anyone who knows much about the NBA knows Dallas is a beast at home. Only losing five games in the regular season at home gives me a lot of confidence in them to win the next two games to even the series up.

Marquis Daniels played pretty well last night, but I couldn't believe he shot that quick after he rebounded the ball in the waning seconds of the game. I believe the previous shot hit the rim, resetting the shot clock. He should have kicked the ball back out to Nash, and they could have reset their offense and try again.

I nearly went crazy when Finley let the ball slip out of his hands. I gotta give it to the Kings, though. They played a good game.
