I bought a "Lot" of games off Ebay from a guy who claimed to have gotten them at a police auction. Among them was Intelligent Qube, disc-only.
Well, I put it in to give it a test (which is funny because I never test games) and the title screen looked strange. I hit start - then it goes to load screen with a PS1 controller on it. Then to the IQ title screen that we all know and recognize. Here it says "Demo Version" in red letters across the top. The "Options" button does nothing, and it only lets you play stages 2,3, and 4.
I know, I know, there are THOUSANDS of Intelligent Qube demos out there. However, I have only really seen them on the TRIAL discs that have several different games on them. This is an actual IQ disc with only IQ Demo on the disc - nothing else. Were it not for my testing the game out, there is no way to tell the difference between this disc and an actual IQ disc (artwork and everything is exactly the same). Anybody know if this is actually rare, or have I just by chance never come across it?
