Ahh, the hacking community is supporting bootlegging and child labor in China.

Fuck them.

I really don't see what the big deal is about this cracking the UMD format stuff...I mean if there is still no way to play it ON the psp--who even cares?

I'm not going to be sitting at the computer emulating a psp game--that's why we have pc games and home consoles.

I just don't get it, who really cares if we can't even play the titles that were "oMg HaXoRd" on the PSP itself.

It causes potential loss of sales for the system. While you may not Emulate a PSP others will. And when that PSP killer app gets here if its cracked and emulated on the PC it will cause loss of software sales.

Let me know when I can run a NES emulator off my memeory stick, that's all I want.

Well there wont be any damage unless someone can get an emulator running it. Remember CPS3 rom has been release for years now, but there is no way to play them.

you mean the definition?

is capcom play system 3 (or something close). an arcade board that came after cps2 (marvel vs capcom 2)

If that's what it stands for, I would say that playing PSP roms would definitely have a higher demand than CPS3. Those roms would be playable before you know it.

I'll second that except I'd like to see SNES (the controls are perfect for it)...

Give them time they will be able to do all sorts of things with it. Plus, cracking a UMD is a big deal since it will soon lead to you being able to rip games and play them on your psp. They we'll end up online just like all the xbox and ps2 games. That's why it's important.

it would still take a lot of work to get it on a memory stick, and even more work to get a burnable UMD. This is something that could take years to figure out.

As for emulator, you can already play nes emulator and some snes on gba.

this is the psp forum, being able to run emulators on gba is of no concern. people here want emulators on the psp. :)

yeah but I think it is very expensive to buy a flash cart that really serves no other purpose. With the memory stick at least it has other functions to justify the expense...
