No one has made a thread for this yet?...Or has it already been discussed in another thread? Either way, the first reviews are up and it seems promising.

Even if it gets good reviews, I won't believe it's good until I see it for myself.

Very good to hear. After the critics trashed Episode 2, I was curious to see how they would react to 3.

Phantom and Attack both got great reviews...even w/ all the "What you been smokin' Lucas?" stuff they were both pretty darn good movies, and i'm sure Sith will be too. It's just a matter of how well they do justice to the whole Star Wars genre.

"Attack" was an improvement over "Phantom" although the dialog lines written for Anakin Skywalker were terrible.

The book was an excellent read. Though, watching the clips in the game vs. the book it feels a little empty. There are so many cool lightsaber fights, I can't wait. I guess we'll find out for sure on the 19th.

Just for the record, Ep. I and II got mixed reviews.
Metacritic Episode I (http://www.metacritic.com/video/titles/starwarsi)
Metacritic Episode II (http://www.metacritic.com/video/titles/starwarsii)
But I agree, I hope Revenge of the Sith does justice to the series.

I believe he only gets a few seconds on screen with no speaking at all.

The action was good in 1&2 and the acting was horrible. From the clips I've seen from 3, I expect the same.

The book was an excellent read.
WTF? I couldn't read more than 30 pages of the book before putting it down. It is very poorly written. I read the whole graphic novel and the first 30 pages of the book (more since I didn't read past that?) were covered in one- two at most- pages of the graphic novel. I probably could have tolerated the poor writing a few years ago, but not now as I've been actually reading all the books assigned for school.

You're right, Stover's writing isn't the best. Maybe I looked past it because it was Star Wars. The overall story was excellent in my opinion. The first couple chapeters were a smidge painful, but once Dooku entered it picked up.

I cant believe you guys liked ep 1 and 2. They were complete trash in my opinion. To each his own I suppose. The sad part is I know i'll end up going to this one even though I didn't like the others, and am not really a star wars fan by any means.

Sounds good. Can't wait to see it. Though I would have saw it with bad or good reviews.

If III is as good as I and II I'll be happy. They weren't the best movies ever made but I enjoyed them quite a bit.

Any comments on Anakin's Bush-like "If you're not with me, you're against me" statement while fighting Obi-Wan and Padme's "So this is how liberty dies. . . with thunderous applause" as Palpatine seizes control of the Senate for intergalatic "security" reasons?

That line is just dumb. Fucking hollywood morons. I don't give a shit what you think about anything - just entertain me. Nothing more.

I have to see Ep. 3 too.
Its just one of those stories that you have to sum up, no matter how good or bad it is. (Hopefully Good!)

Yeah, his lines were worse than those soap operas on Univision.
It is apparent that a young Mr. Lucas spent his Saturday nights alone.

I don't understand the showtimes for this movie, it says 12:00 am on May 18, although the movie opens on the 19th.
Shouldn't it be listed as 12:00 am on May 19th?
Are theaters just assuming midnight means it's still PM?

I believe some theaters just aren't as smart as we had hoped for them to be.

This movie needs Christopher Walken in it.

"Five long years, your dad hid this lightsaber up his ass. Then when he died of dysentery, he gave me the lightsaber. I hid this uncomfortable piece of metal up my ass for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the lightsaber to you."

Let's just have Chistopher Walken say it himself!
