NubyTech today announced a new wireless lineup in its series of officially licensed Street Fighter controllers for the PlayStation 2. This series marks the first wireless controllers featuring the official Street Fighter characters on the system. The controllers feature a different set of characters than profiled on its previous controllers, including Blanka, Cammy, Sagat and Evil Ryu.

There will be a limited run of 10,000 units produced, each individually numbered to mark their collectivity. Each controller will come in a custom leather case with batteries, a wireless receiver, a keychain or dog tag (depending on the character) and a unique comic that tells each fighter's anthology.

"With the success of our previously released Street Fighter lines, we are taking another step to show Capcom fans the best possible controllers in terms of quality and presentation," says Paul Chen, president and COO of NubyTech.

Looks very nice, hopefully they aren't too expensive. I may have to get one if they're around $30. What do you think?

they can't even get the Xbox ones to retailers so there is no hope of ever seeing these

For around $30 dollars, you can just use a GGC on a Logitech Cordless and get the best wireless (and official!) controller money can buy.

Interesting designs, but I'm very happy with my Logitech.

 The logitech controller isn't all that good. It's just too fragile compared to my DS2. Thanks, but no thanks.

Evil Ryu looks cool, but PS2 controllers are fine for fighting games already. I'm trying to find an Xbox Akuma one for under $25

I really like the SF controllers for the PS2. I may have to bite on one of these. Hopefully they won't have any lag.

the sf controllers are really good. But ur going to hate them when u first get it but you'll learn to like it. its made like the sega saturn controllers are. very responsive and easy to do moves. Only flaw it has is that the buttons are split a little far apart so I couldn't do Akuma's raging demon super art EASILY. I got a ryu one for like 6 bucks on ebay so its all good ahhaha.
