Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (HOU), Chicago (IL), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

Those 3 for $35 games could be good if there are some that I don't have already. But whats with the $14.99 dvds? all those should be $10 with the exception of Spanglish.

Kind of a downer that NFS DS and Cold Winter are not on sale in IL.
Got the paper this morning and was really disappointed at this weeks sales selection.

I only count 17 so I'm assuming that there must be a few more. I'll definitely be at Fry's tonight and I'll report back what's included if someone hasn't already done it by then. The last time Fry's had a similar deal, they had lists of the included games available in the videogames section. I'll see if i can snag one and post it.

I have posted all of the games which appear in any of the 8 ads that I check.

No doubt there is a flyer at the Fry's which contains the full listing of the remainder of the sale games. If I swing by at lunch, I'll post it.

That 3 for $35 is probably going to warrant a trip to Fry's. It seems like they're all older $20 and less titles. I have a feeling some stores might vary on whats 3 for $35 depending on their stock, so there might be some gems out there.

Yeah, I just returned a Dark Cloud 2 to Fry's that I bought when it dropped from $30 to $20 since I picked it up used at GR. It is pretty scratched up though (at least the title screen and beginning of the game work - won't get around to playing it fully for several months). I'd get a new copy if I could find 2 other games to get along with it - what those other 13+ games are (besides the 17 in the OP) is key...

Dark Cloud 2 was the game I went there for, too. They also had Ico, Max Payne 2 (Xbox), Onimusha 2, Conflict: Desert Storm, and some others I can't remember.

Luckily for me, they posted one of the 3 for $35 signs under Gran Tourismo 3 instead of under Grand Theft Auto 3. I took GT3 up to the front, and the hottie cashier gave me the discount on it.

I ended up with Dark Cloud 2, Onimusha 2, and Gran Tourismo 3 for $35. Not bad.

Edit: Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee was also part of the sale.

Thanks, I bought Ico at Frys a few months ago for $14.99 and just noticed the other day that they jacked it up to $19.99 - don't usually see price increases on games like that. I might check out this evening (probably going to a movie at the Regal near the Wilsonville one anyway) and see if there's anything else to make it worthwhile.

Yeah, that's the one I was at. First time I've been there. They have a pretty good selection and a lot of old games I haven't seen for a while. I was also tempted to pick up the huge strategy giode for SMT: Nocturne. Hopefully, I can find it used somewhere so that I don't have to drop $20 on it.

The 17th is the last day of the sale. On the 18th, the prices will no longer be valid and a new ad should be up. Expect a huge mega-ad for Friday though. It should be one of those things where people line up at the doors for.

No, that price is good tomorrow still. But after closing on Tuesday...unless they offer it again, it's gone.
