EB has the Logitech headset for $29.99 shipped. This is the Logitech one, not the Sony Logitech one. Most places sell it for $39.99. I'm not sure if this is the price in store or not.

Because the Sony labeled one is also manufactured by Logitech, do you know which headset is the better one?

I've checked a lot of places, and the Logitech one (the one I'm talking about) seems to be the better one. You get different ear pieces for comfort and the mic is more adjustable that the Sony one. The Sony one also only has a 90 day warranty. The Logitech one has a full year warranty. That's another thing that helped me make my decision.
I picked up 2 of these from Compusa for $10 each after rebates before Christmas (might have been a Black Friday deal, I do not remember). It is a good headset. Much better than the one that came with Socom. The only problem is that it does not have a mute button or the volume control like the newer Sony one but I could not beat the price.

There used to be a $10 rebate a while back. Someone may want to go and look at Logitech's web-site to see if it is still valid....myself, too lazy this morning.

$29.99 is the regular price. I picked up this headset @ EB B&M during the after Christmas trade-in sale so I actually didn't pay for it. A good purchase nonetheless, especially if you can get free shipping AND no tax...

so you think the newer sony one is better??? ive seen a sony one in yellow packaging and a blue one so i have no idea which one is the newer one.

The rebate has expired. You can mute the sound in the game, so that's no big deal to me. I wanted the warranty and the more adjustable mic.

The one in the picture is the Blue one. Supposedly the yellow one (first gen) wasn't very comfortable. I find that I can use this one without even noticing it is there. And it is very adjustable...

It's just a USB headset. I'm sure it works on the PC, too.
