No kidding, within 10 minutes of posting any deal that isn't some YMMV thing unavailable to 99% of us, someone is complaining.

$29.99 is a decent price, lowest price on Half.com sealed is $33 plus shipping.

how is it not much of a deal? SCII is still the premiere 3D fighter (Vrtua Fightas aside) and I paid 50 for it and never regretted it.
everyone get off NFG. If you do not think its much of a deal than move on. Personally I think she does an excellent job

$30 is the cheapest I've seen it online. The GC version didn't drop in price as fast as the Ps2 one did. I got mine at Target awhile back for $30ish on sale.

Casey, did you pay $50 before Oct 24 or after Oct 24? :)

I paid $50 for the XBox version and it was well worth it. NFG finds so many deals, and people just go and flame her for helping people out. =D> NFG, for all the deals you post.

Yeah, the PS2 and Xbox versions are $20 on Outpost but it's still $30 for Gamecube there so it seems like the Gamecube version is taking longer to drop in price more.
I guess that's because if someone owns more than 1 console, they want the Gamecube version because of Link so there is more demand for that version

the day it came out. August 26th at 8 P.M. up at Best Buy
I remember because I got a BBA that same day for my Cube and had the reciept attached to get it as a Christmas present

Not only that, the Gamecube has fewer really good fighters.

I guess my point was that if you had known CAG back then you probably would not have opted to pick up the game at $50 :P

Thanks for the support guys! MUCH appreciated.
I'm one of those that paid full price ($49.99) for SCII for GC but I got the Link cel art with it, which is really nice.

It would not have been a CAG thing. I had been hyped out the game for a long period of time (almost to the point of modding my Cube to get it)
I did get F-Zero about a week later and I wish I would have held off on that one. Great game, but I did not have the time to invest in it as I was busy with SCII

Even though it looks like the point was made, this is the best price I've seen it online for the cube, unless you want to use buyrite which offers the same price, be we all know about them. Thanks NFG.

Grabbed my GC version in mint condition from a pawn shop for $12.
I'm a hardcore Street Fighter man, so Namco's fighting system (SC and DOA) just doesn't click w/ me yet. I'm forcing myself to play it for hours on end to try to find what the freak people like about it. (No need to flame me; I'm trying to like it!)
