I liked that the writer had a good appreciation for the fine details that will make the difference in creating engaging environments. A lot of people fail to understand how the additional power will enhance games.

I have no problem with the Xbox personally but there is no denying that its bulk and cosmetic appearance drew negative responses from a big chunk of the market and held back its growth. I don't particularly care what a console looks like. I'm not looking at the console when I'm using it but this does affect the choices of many.

I was wondering that somewhat myself, but since there's still half a year left in development for games and almost as much time for the console hardware it may not matter anyway.

Yeah, that shot looks HOT, but I wonder if it's in-game footage.... anybody remember "The Bouncer"? We all know how that one turned out.
