nice list. Seems pretty accurate.

Edit: by the way, its a rarity list not value list.

Excuse my naiveté, but what is an "Aladdin cart"?

As I recall the Aladdin carts are just unauthorized NES games. Their cartridge color is different from Nintendo's grey carts. I have seen gold and silver carts as well as black. Some of these I have seen have a switch on the back for something.

The Aladdin was this thing made by a company called Camerica. It was basically an adapter that fit into the NES like a regular cart (it was not a game itself), and you plugged these little cartridges into the Aladdin, and then played these on the NES. Sorta like a Super Gameboy, except, the games weren't Gameboy games...they were basically NES games on a proprietary cart, made for the sole purpose of being played on the NES, through the Aladdin.

Here's a pic, so you can get an idea of how it worked:

OK, so, maybe my explanation isn't so good. Here's a page with plenty of info about it (also where I got the pic from):

I used this list and put it in Excel format to keep track of my game collection. Check the link in my sig. Took a while to get it done, feel free to dl and save the file to use for your own collections.

From that pic I thought the thing looked like absolute garbage, but after reading the linked article it did seem like a fairly neat idea. Though I doubt the games for it would have been any good, even if the thing had done well. (The few that were released, according to that link, don't look like anything that hot.)

Dizzy and Micro Machines, in particular, are classic games, ya know. ;)

Also note that the games on the aladdin carts are also available on regular carts that are either gold or silver in color and have a reqion selector on the back. Oh and most the regular non aladdin carts are rather common.

Alfred Chicken Mindscape B+

I love that game! I use to have it but.... it's a long story.

$10 for cart only on ebay, I'm tempted, but I'm gonna check GC first.
