i think flooding the board is a much better idea than one giant thread to post EVERYTHING in, it just sounds like too much of a mess.

I don't think he was. It wouldn't matter either way; most people are still going to make their own thread. I'd prefer the all-in-one idea, but I still know that the mods are going to be plenty busy with all the moving/locking. Joy!

Maybe you should split it up by system...That way it doesn't clog the boards, but it doesn't make one big mess of a thread.

whoever said splitting it up by platform, thats a great idea so long as the OP updates the topic so people dont have to hunt through dozens of pages for info.

AGREED.
But you know the top post is not going to be kept updated. It's the biggest event of the year, the General Gaming board is going to have a ton of action. Stuff that interests people will get posts and stay near the top, stuff that doesn't will die off and fall to the bottom. No big deal.

If each of the mods or someone else who's reliable makes a Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, PC and a General thread, we shouldn't have to worry about it not being updated.
Plus all five of those categories should pretty much cover everything that will be announced and should help keep everything in better order.
I suggest the mods pick who's going to head each thread up so they can go ahead and start up the threads pretty soon and hopefully head off any mass E3 posts.

im going to go ahead and lock this, if anyone wishes to take command of different platforms news, feel free, otherwise, flood the board ^^
