$20 for PS2 I-Ninja, pretty sweet. No idea if the B&M has the same deal or not. And they don't seem to have the Xbox version on the website

If anyone pops into a B&M, I'd appreciate the word on whether or not the Xbox version is also at a good price.

Updated B&M has all versions for $19.99 (thanks shipwreck!)

I was planning on going to Best Buy in a little while, so I'll check on the Xbox version of I-Ninja and report back what I find. Anybody else have anything else they'd like me to price check at Best Buy?

Just got back from Best Buy and I can confirm that I-Ninja is $19.99 for all systems (PS2, GCN, & Xbox). I picked up the Xbox version for $14.99 after GGC.

Sweet, thanks for checking that out. I would head over there if it wasn't for the freezing rain...

Now to decide between the Xbox version and the GC version. I know Xbox usually has better graphics, but this sort of game seems well suited to a Nintendo console. Anyone want to voice an opinion (I am not looking for system bashing or fanboy evangelizing. If you think console Y sucks and console Z is the greatest thing since sliced bread, then your opinion regarding which version of this game is best is worthless, as it would be the same opinion regardless of what game it is).

To me being able to save your game on the HDD gives the Xbox the edge. Why fool with memory cards if you don't have to?

Although having not actually played the game on either of those systems I can't give much more of an informed opinion.

Well, I do appreciate your opinion, but pretty much anyone who owns a GC owns at least one memory card, which makes that pretty much a non-issue. Yes, it is a factor in deciding which console to buy, but not really a factor in which version of this game to get.

While I can't say if any of the versions have an advantage over the others, I do see how saving to the harddrive is a plus. While you may already have a memory card for either the PS2 or GCN, those can fill up and you either have to erase saves or buy a new card. You'll never have to erase game saves with the harddrive and it usually allows for more save files per game than the memory cards (I don't know if that will affect the saving in I-Ninja though).

i have the ps2 version and it doesnt take up much mem card space (100 or so kb), looks great, sounds great, and controls great. cant vouch for the others having never played them, but the ps2 one is fine if anyone is interested

I know exactly what you mean. I advocate all systems, and usually I go with Xbox for multiplatform games. In the case of Pacman World 2, I went with the cube not only because of Pac-Man Vs. but platformers just feel like a Nintendo thing. I probably would have ordered I-Ninja for the cube, but ordered it for the Xbox solely because Gamestop didn't have any for the cube. Well, that and 5.1 surround sound is nice. But whatever. I'll probably be kicking myself when it gets here, wishing I got the damn thing for the cube.

Just get the Cube version. The differences are minamal, and thye look/play exactly the same. The main reason is the controller. It just feels better. Same reason im getting POP for my cube and not my box (although you can see individual fingers on the x...)

Go with the Nintendo GC version. It just feels better, and it will get you into a good Super Monkey Ball 1 or 2 fix. The memory card issue is over-blown cause the game is so short and not really all that much of a time investment anyhow. The memory card is an issue mostly with keeping Sports franchises and seasons.
