Pure Evil: Resident Evil 2 Pack?

I was wondering if anyone has seen this one before. I don't have a Fry's near me so I can't go look myself. Just wondering if they put RE1+RE0 is some kind of neat box, or are they just tossing these two games together and calling it something new to get more people to pay.

It's the same box I got from Gamestop except it doesnt have Billy and Rebecca on the cover. Also on the bottom left corner, there was a small caption talking about a free RE4 demo disc.

I think I've seen this at Gamestop. Didn't pay attention because my interest is never was on any of the RE games. Is there any incredibley special about this? aside from the RE4 demo then?

Nope, just the cardboard box and the 2 games. I doubt the RE4 demo promo still works because it a limited number of demos were made (something like 100,000).

Pure Evil contains Player's Choice versions of REmake and REZero. The RE4 Preview Disc promo was good til 1/31/2005 and in limited quantities. The box itself is more tan/sand colorish than the red you've seen in the pictures. And yes, it's just a box, nothing special.

I bought this 2 pack just the other day and I was sort of disapointed to figure out that it comes with players choice versions of the game. I was almost thinking of going back to the store I bought it and asking what was the deal with that. So you really are suppose to get players choice version with it (I only ask cause I hate that yellow). Oh and one more thing is it suppose to come with any plastic rap kind of stuff around it like you get with new games? And is the box plastic rapped or does the flaps just have that circle tape on it?

Yeah, I bought it mainly for the RE4 demo but REmake and RE 0 for $15 isn't bad. But I was dissappointed when I opened them to find Player's Choice versions of the games...:-x

Yes, you are supposed to get PC versions.

Yes, plastic circles...clear plastic circles.
