you have to be 18, and you have to register your hardware with Sony (specifically the network adaptor). Having a broadband connection also plays a large part in it as well.

also make sure you check the box that says you want to be included in such things

yea. Solidus does look alot like Big Boss so it could be either. Personally I'd rather have Big Boss, better character IMO. But that might be what Solidus looks like without his machine body suit. Man, this is gonna keep me guessing until the game comes out. Damn you Kojima!

the amount of games has nothing to do with it. I got my first beta within six weeks of having a playstation and probably only had around 10 games.

We can finally see the Metal Gear series from the beginning, the way Hideo Kojima always meant it to be... and Metal Gear Solid will make a bit more sense now.

I really do hope the camera is better this time. I love mgs3, but I had some issues with the open area, since I ran into enemies sometimes. Plus I might pick up the bba just for the online mode. :D

Did they announce a release date for Subsistence yet? I didn't notice one when I was browsing the IGN coverage.

I haven't been able to get into MGS3 yet, due to the overhead camera... I felt like I was playing with blinders on and it really got to me that I had to stop and use First-Person view mode so damn much in order to get anything done.

I'm really glad there's a new camera option in Subsistence... I will definitely pick it up whenever it comes out (hopefully this summer, so that it doesn't run into Zelda and the X360 launch in the fall).

The Peeping Tom minigame is just plain weird... as if staring at her chest while she talks wasn't enough of an option...

Yeah...i mean they should have the old Metal Gear, nintendo style top down view, but that makes room for many problems
