That's why you have the option of e-mailing the seller/buyer so you can discuss the little details like manuals and stuff, no?

Thats sucks. Always email the guy if they dont have everything listed in the auction.

25 for just the game is a good deal though.

Maybe the guy will understand if you email him and ask for a tradeback. He'll probably make you pay for his shipping, but if he's nice enough, he may do it.

I need some advice too:
i have a few sellers/buyers that haven't left feedback, i have emailed em multiple times but they never respond or leave feedback. they have reseived their items/money. (they emailed me when they got them, that is the last email i have received) and of course, the nice dumbass that i am, left feedback as soon as i got the stuff. anyone got any advice?

I wouldn't leave neutral. Leave positive but state that the auction wasn't clear that it was disc only. It's his first sale and he doesn't really know. Don't start him off looking bad, he did hold up his end of the bargain . Maybe just email him and tell him about it so he can avoid future negative feedback and he may turn out to be a great seller.

Next time ask questions before bidding and save the emails. Avoid low feedback sellers. I would not leave any feedback for now. If you leave a neutral feedback the seller may counter with a red negative. Just live and learn. Forget about this auction and try not make the same mistakes next time.

When I sell things, I only leave feedback after the buyer does. When I buy something I leave feedback as soon as I receive the item. Email and ask is all you can do really.

Agreed. If you put neutral or negative feedback for him, he's probably going to be like every other idiot on the internet and feel the need to slander your good name in retaliation. A premature feedback could leave something on your feedback record like "This guy's a douchebag, don't accept his bids" or some shit.

I think buyers should leave feedback first. Try emailing them once asking for feedback. I know building a feedback record is important but don't let that be your priority. Enjoy ebay.

I think he's new..maybe he doesn't have a clue what i am talking about?
well..that explains one guy. he joined the day he bid on my auc.he's had a week to give feedback (it was my first time sellin anything so of course i left feedback as soon as the check cleared),the other 2 have had 3 days to respond/leave feedback,i will give them another 5 days before i send out another email. The reason feedback is important at the moment is i only have a rateing of 8 (2 neg's and a neutral because of late payments i made)

theboogieman, don't bother them too much about feedback. They might get irritated and never leave you feedback or even leave you something less than positive. Also, some people just don't leave feedback. I can see where you're coming from though; just make sure to explain your feedback situation and be nice :) If you want more opinions on this, there's a lot in the eBay forums about it too.

I never bid on something if the seller doesnt have time to type atleast a paragraph about the game and its condition. Also he had 0 feedback =NOT GOOD LOL

Same here. But I also never bid unless it has a picture of the actual product. The only time I did that was for nes sleeves, but there were 300 items total.

same thing happened to me a few years ago. i sold 4 ps2 games for 40 bucks and shipped them out at my expense. then i left positive feedback for the guy but never got any in return. i e-mailed him twice about it in the 3 month period, but he never left any for me. what a lazy ass... first off, he got a great deal, secondly, i paid for his shipping to hawaii! oh well, i learned from it. now i only deal with regulars who have awesome feedback.

I hate when you leave someone feedback and they don't leave it in return.

I have left positive feedback on 585 transactions but have only received 426 positve feedbacks.

If you're a good seller, you should definitely send positive feedback as soon as you get payment, immediately if you're getting it through Paypal.

If you're a buyer, you leave feedback as soon as you get the stuff and checked it out so it's all good.

What's so hard about this? I don't know.

Some sellers are sneaky assholes. I once bought Hitman 2 for the XBOX, and the description was "like new" and stated the game was in mint condition and played once. I get the thing in a black generic case with no manual. He refused to have the item shipped back to him so I dropped a negative. If they slander you back, I just write in the follow-up the feedback is retaliatory.

In my opinion you made a mistake bidding. The guy has 0 feedback and gave literrally no information about the game condition. MINT, complete, CD condition, ect. . I stay away from auctions like those and I provide as much pictures and info in all of my auctions.

If you're a buyer, you leave feedback as soon as you get the stuff and checked it out so it's all good.

What's so hard about this? I don't know.

Here's a good reason. Let's say someone pays, you send the item, then they claim they never received it and you have already left positive feedback. Or they claim it wasn't in the advertised condition. Or better yet, they claim it doesn't work when really it does. Or there are the wonderful bidders who win a game that is pictured AND described as "with video stickers" or "with writing on it", etc. but when they receive the item demand a partial refund because it's not as nice as they had hoped.

Sellers have to protect themselves from underhanded bidders just as much (if not moreso) as vice-versa. I have had some bidders completely flip out for no reason and been very glad that my feedback was holding them back from just negging me and going about their business. It's nice to be able to email someone back and say "If you're not going to act respectfully I don't have to deal with you." When you've already left feedback you are completely at their mercy.

The deal is only 1/2 over when the bidder pays. There is still a LOT the bidder can do to make it a negative experience after they have paid a seller. If you sell something and you leave positive feedback as soon as they pay, you're begging for someone to take advantage of you. Yeah, yeah, boo hoo - a seller can use the feedback to force a less-than-happy bidder to leave better feedback than what is deserved. Be a man (or woman) and leave whatever feedback is deserved. If someone tries to blackmail you and you fall for it, it's your dumb fault.
