What do you think? I'm hoping for something cool... The E3 video shows a little promise...

Hopefully,if it turns out with strong sales we could see a new shooter franchise. I believe it would help Nintendo's image.

the fact that it has no online will hurt its sales tremendously. I hope nintendo can see to this so they will release a version on the Revolution.

The parts that Penny Arcade make fun of:

are the parts that interest me. The parts that look like Killzone, or whatever the lowest common denominator in extraterrestial/supernatual FPS is, I'm willing to put up with if the other stuff is sufficiently compelling.
I was wondering when Geist was going to premier. It looks good, but they should keep it from being too twinkish. Geist is a definite Rent.

I think it looks/sounds good. That means nothing though as previews always tend to sound positive to me. I like how on nintendo.com, 14 people have rated the game even though it hasn't even come out yet.

I hope it is good. That would be awesome for Ninty to have a system seller thats a FPS. They need some new franchise characters drastically.

Based upon the initial previews of Geist I've seen, it looks to be a cross between Second Sight and Red Faction. Only graphics are a bit BloodRayne One like. Not impressed, but always hoping for something good. If it's Big N's first FPS with LAN, then I'll be picking up 2 copies for sure! It's a wait and see til then.
