EBgames Price Match question

I've heard alot about this, but can anyone confirm if this is a nationwide thing or just a YMMV type of deal. I would just call them myself but since it's Sunday they are already closed, doh! Thanks in advance.

If the EB is in a mall, there's a chance it'll PM. The EB that's in the mall near me will PM other stores in the mall.

Yeah, my EBgames is in a mall, but I need it to price match a store outside of the mall.

Basically, I need someone to match Kmart's deal of Splinter Cell: CT for $35 since my local Kmart is sold out (what a shocker), and I need to game kinda soon. I'm asking about EB's price match policy since they are the closest store in the area. If need be, I can just go to Best Buy, but the nearest one to me is a bit of a drive away. That, and I am no longer welcome at my local CC for various reasons.

Mine is just in a shopping center and they'll match anybody locally (w/in a 30 minute drive)

I'd hang on OP. Both gamestop and EB have both had splinter cell for 29.99 recently. I smell a future price drop.

The EB at my mall said they no longer price match.

I think if you price match at EBGames, EB has to call up the store you're pricematching from (In the OP's case KMart). They have to make sure its in stock, and its not then they wont price match it.

The EBX in my mall does not PM, I've asked. (Although I've gotten bad info from the workers there before, so maybe they actually do...)

Thanks for all the info so far everyone, I'll go ahead and give my local EB a call tomorrow morning to find out what there policy is. If they don't, I guess I'll just have to make my way down to Best Buy, not a big deal, but I like to try to avoid that place when possible.
