I've been a regular lurker to this site for quite some time now, I've never been able to figure out what "YMMV" means. I see it all the time in posts, can anyone lend the acronym n00b a hand?
Thanks so very much for the quick answer, I can browse the forums in the acronym know now!

Your mileage may vary.
It means that the deal may be a local thing.

Just entering the acronym in Google will usually reveal the full phrase. YMMV isn't an acronym in the true sense. A proper acronym is easily pronounced as a word, like RADAR.

YMMV, your miles may vary. Whenever you see this check to see if someone in your local area found has sucess before you go running off and your Sears, Walmart or TRU is participating in this deal.

Some popular ones are YMMV (your mileage may vary), B&M (brick and mortar), OOS (out of stock), etc.

I've been wondering about that too, but I never really considered it.
