Upcoming TRU ads

This Sunday, TRU has a few things in the ad. A GBA SP value pack for $140($30 savings). It includes the GBA SP, the huge ultimate pack of accessories($50 value), and GBA American Idol($20 value).

Also, the normal GBA games will be $5 off - Pacman, Frogger, Battlebots, Konami Arcade, Secret Agent Barbie, Museum, and Arcade Hits.

Then on 5/2 theres a summer ad hitting for the "warm areas" such as Texas and Florida(I believe this ad hits 2 weeks later everywhere else), but includes the Buy 1 Get 1 free on all value rack software for PS2. Free PS2 Arcade Treasures when you buy PS2 NBA Ballers, Spider-man 2 video game presells(pick up a PS2 Spiderman controller for $5 when the game comes out if you preorder), PS2 Conflict Desert Storm 2 - $14.99, PS2 Legacy of Kain - $19.99, PS2 Haunted Mansion - $19.99, a Gamecube Bundle(unsure of details), and a GBA SP Bundle($120 or $115 unsure of exact price includes GBA SP, Starter Kit($30), and Mega Man blue or white).

Value rack software is all the software that comes in those weird plastic cases(not the hard jewel cases). There are some greatest hits that are part of it, but not a whole lot. The stock really varies by store, but Onimusha 2, Crazy Taxi, Bass Pro Fishing, Monkey Island, Spy Hunter are a few that are part of it. It's the same as the deal they ran about a month ago. The packaging usually says Value Software $9.99, $14.99, or $19.99 on it. And some greatest hits come in the regular packaging and the Value Software packaging, and only the Value Software packaging will ring up on sale as they have a special UPC on it.

Yes it is on sale 5/2 for the warm stores. This ad hits then for stores in areas like Texas, Florida, California, etc.

Our store hasn't gotten much more of the value rack software back in stock. We used to get boxes and boxes of it, but lately it's just been 3 or 4 pieces at a time, and even then its the stuff that doesn't sell as fast. I haven't seen Parappa come in in awhile. Hopefully we'll get some more for the ad, though.
