So, this month's PSM came in the mail yesterday, but I had a pretty busy day, so I didn't get to open it. Well, I just opened it up, and was surprised to see they had a nice little addition to this month's issue:

It's a 15 or so page "advertisement" on the Xbox 360. :lol:

Not really... psm is owned by ziff-davis who also publishes egm (and maybe oxm - I can't remember), so you could see how this could get in there. I bet it is a mistake though and either way it's pretty funny.

PSM and OXM are owned by Future Publishing, which you can see right in the pic.

I remember in an October 2001 issue of PSM, there was an ad of Dead or Alive 3, an Xbox game, in there. IGN had an article on it, though the page is down now.

Eh, maybe "advertisement" wasn't the best word to describe it, but there's nothing really in here we didn't already see/know. I was actually going to scan them, but I am on a crappy dialup connection, and it takes forever to compress and post the pics. I'm sure somebody else got this, and could hook us up with a scan...

The line that really cracks me up is the one right on the cover, that says:

"Supplement to PSM: 100% independent PlayStation 2 magazine" :lol:

What's the big deal. Even if you're reading PSM magazine, it only covers PS1 and PS2. With the dubious new PS3 plan to halt price reductions on the console, the next gen is def up for grabs.
