Single Card multiplayer (DS) help

I got Puyo Pop Fever today and it allows you to play multiplayer even if only one person has the game. I am having trouble getting this to work on my brother's DS. Do I have to get the game to the start screen and have him choose "Download DS...". Any help would be appreciated.

For most single card multiplayer, yes the person with the game has to go into multiplayer mode and this will usually be where a second player could download the game from the startup screen by choosing Download Software (or whatever it says). Some games though (like Polarium) you have to go to a different screen and allow the Demo of the game to be downloaded and then both go into multiplayer mode to play.

It realy depends on the game...If all else fails, just read the instructions that came with the game you are trying to play.
