If so, what kind?
Nintendo's website recommends against them and assures that no damage will be done to the screen by using the official stylus.
I'm not sure whether or not I should get one, and what brand to get.

Jebus! I swear I've seen more DS topics in the last 36hrs then at the DS's launch.
But i'll answer with I dont use screen protectors. I think I might but i see no need since I hardly ever play my DS.

Same here and if anything the screen gets a little dirty.

No, I want to get one but I'm too lazy to order it. I don't think the stylus could ruin the screen for the most part but some games concern me like the mini game in Mario 64 under the Wario games where you have to roll the snowball.

Yeah, it's Wario Ware that worries me. Oh well, I have one dead pixel, so if I srew up my screen I can just send it in to Nintendo because of the pixel. Plus, if Nintendo says you can't ruin the screen with the official stylus and they advise against screen protectors, shouldn't they replace or fix a damaged screen?

Yeah i use one... Its a shitty pelican one... Leaves residue on the screen, and has bubbles. I planning on taking off the top part but leaving one on the bottom screen.

I've thought of using one, but haven't seen any on sale except for in those bundles. I'm not too worried about scratches, it's the dust that bugs me. My bottom screen tends collect dust like crazy, annoying but not problematic.

I've been thinking about buying a Japanese screen protector that I've seen links to before, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
I have a single dead pixel on my top screen, so I intend to send my DS back to Nintendo next January to get it replaced, so I'm not very worried about scratches.

Nintendo did a clever trick. They didn't put out any good games so there's no reason to play the DS therefore the screen won't get scratched! Seriously I don't use a screen protector but I haven't played mine in months.

LOL yea it seems that way. I used my DS for the first week. Then when Wario ware came out I put like 3 days into that. Since then nothing. I also got a PSP on launch and played it for maybe 2 weeks then havent played it since. Maybe handheld aren't my thing.

I tried the Hori screen protector. I couldn't get the bottom screen protector to actually mount without some air bubbles so I just took it off. I play my DS a lot since it keeps me occupied at work.
