Hmmmm, have you guys ever got a PS2 that scratch your disc in perfect circular? Well that's what I heard a lot of people are having.

My old PS2 doesn't scratch the disc, but it did give a lot of CLOUD swirling on the disc. Since there is no scratch, but cloudy, will the disc become readable just like new by the laser? Or will it mess up?

Damn, my precious Xenosaga and Ratchet 2 disc...Damn you Sony.

I noticed the clouding happened to the games I left in the system for a while, thats why I always take my games out when I finish. Yeah, my FFX and Tekken 4 have the clouding really bad but they still play fine.

Huh... my games do look clouded... =\

Great, thanks for bringing another thing to peck at the back of my mind. Now I can't play my games too long or they'll get foggy...

It's not about leaving the disc on the system get you cloud, I think the laser somehow make those cloud on the disc. I even tried water to clean up those cloud, but it's impossible. I guess the laser print those cloud on the disc or something.

I'm a little worry if the PS2 put cloud in game disc like that, and then later it will have a hard time reading data off the disc.

it doesn't matter how long you play them, the ps2 will always do that. I heard it rumors it has to do with the disc melting from the laser.

I wouldent worry about it. Even though your disc wont look flawless, it should still work fine.

Yea, but wouldn't the laser can't read the data clearly cuz of the cloudy? I'm kinda worry about my games. Evertime I finished a game, I always check to see if there any cloud or scratch that my PS2 can randomly do.

If you're talking about what I'm thinking I thought that was dust. Who knows. I'll be pissed if my Dynasty Warriors 5 has been melted by my fat ps2's laser. All the more reason to love my slim one.

EDIT It's a bunch of specs all over on the DW5. Probably just hard to remove dust.

Why can't they create the PSTwo with the pop up/in for the disc holder thingy like on the GameCube? Each time I want to take my game out of the PSTWO, the disc is kinda bend a little just like when you buy a brand new PS1 game and take it out the first time. There is no way to take the disc out without a little bending, thanks to the stupid disc holder thingy design Sony. Anyone got the same problem?
