You see, the booklet is the thickest booklet I've ever seen on a DVD box like this. When you close the box with the booklet inside, the DVD box can't even properly close (every Growlanser box is like that). So I believe the booklet really push the disc (the one on the flip thingy) a lot, and 20-40 more years, the disc might get bent by the booklet.

ps: I'm kinda paranoid about this so I took the booklet out from the box until somebody can confirm that the booklet will not bend the 1st disc.

Either stop caring, or take the booklet out and store it elsewhere. Sometimes WD crams too much crap into the games they publish.

In 20-40 more years, who knows if any current CD based games would still work, let alone how many PS2s would still work (you may be able to get a working PS3 or PS4 though - here's to backwards compatibility)

That's what I'm going to do. If the PS5 won't support any PS2 games, then I will get atleast 2 PS4 (if it play PS2) just to do back up. By 20-40 years, there might be a perfect Emulator so I'm not worry.

I'm just worry if by then, the Growlanser 1st disc will get bent or not. I really don't like putting the booklet out of the original box, but this time WD forced me to.

....yes, and who are you on Gamefaqs?

I dunno, the damn booklet is too thick. I don't really like putting a booklet out of any original game cases. I guess the best solution is to rip off like 3-4 pages on the booklet to make it thinner, and then put it back on the box. Problem solved!

I would just take it out and put it with my older game manuals. Do you have like a stack of SNES / N64 manuals just kinda sitting around? If not, consider it! :D

I don't want to be a jerk, but... 20-40 years? Don't you think you'll have some better games to play by then?
I'm not saying this game is bad, but I'm sure your interests will evolve.

If you're that worried, use another type of storage for your games.

Your best solution is to rip pages out of the manual?

Nah, I'm gonna store it away somewhere. This is just sad when WD even break one of the booklet holding clip just to put their super thick booklet inside the case. Damn them.
