Hey gang.

I went to E3 in 1999 and I recently came across some of the goodies I had received while there. One of the nicest things I got was a Nintendo softside attache case filled with Nintendo promotional items.

I received it at the press junket when then announced the successor to N64 (Then code named "Dolphin" i believe).

I was considering listing it on eBay, but I'm not sure if it's even worth listing it.

Could anyone here as a Nintendo fan and/or collector, please tell me if they think this is a desirable item?

The bag itself:

Another pic of the bag:

Inside the bag: Broadcast Ready BETA videotape with Nintendo Gameplay and games (1999), a Star Wars Pod Racer T-Shirt (unworn), and a Nintendo 1999 press kit (in bag).

I'd buy it for like 15 bucks, though I really don't think it's worth anything. It seems to be mostly promo stuff and that usually only has any value before the actual stuff is released.

You have some really nice memorabilia over there, assessing the prices on some of that stuff is going to be pretty hard. But, if you live near NYC you could probably check out a really crazy game store in St. Marks Place, they seem to collect anything game related. I sold my unopened Gameboy Color Pikachu Edition for a very nice price.

Near Ray's Pizza? Wasn't that Defender's store?

Anyone else know if fugazi_chichimon was talking about the store Multimedia 1.0?

whatever someone is going to pay for it. With those items it is hard to say not necessary collectables but more like promo junk. not saying that is junk but promo stuff does not ever really get lots of money unless it is extremely rare or the company is really popular. (coca-cola etc)

Thank you for everyone's reply. I thought there might be some interest in it, but apparently not much.

Thanks again!

Have you searched ebay to see if other people have listed some of those items?

Yeah, I've checked every now and then but I have never seen one listed. From what I saw, Nintendo only handed out a couple hundred or so (unless they gave them out at different E3's as well).

I've even searched Google to see if anyone else was talking about them and turned up nothing. I'm assuming that not many people even know about them, so there isn't much interest in it.

I'd be interested in it. I've been needing a bag like that, and a Nintendo one would be icing on the cake. I'm not much interested in the other items, but if you absolutely feel you must keep them together, I'd be willing to negotiate for all of it.

They gave a beta tape in 1999? Wacky.
