Damn, solid week for new music. Motion City Soundtrack, Coldplay, The White Stripes, Finch, and Black Eyed Peas? I'm picking up MCS and Finch, and I'm sure my girlfriend will get Coldplay.

Looks like nobody is going to have any deals on the DualDisc release for John Mayer's "Room For Squares." Oh well.. gonna grab the new Coldplay. Thanks for the heads up. :)

Ahh, thought they might have a deal on the new Dream Theater album, which is out on 7th. Oh well, $14 isn't too outrageous.

Remember when music was free? Dear Napster, I miss you.

Nearly half of the mp3s on Napster back in the day however were really shitty encodes. That along drove me to actually hunt down some of the more harder to find CDs finally just so I could listen to them without hearing the infamous warbeling during most of the songs.

I will admit that Napster back in the day did expose me to a number of bands and artist that otherwise I would of never discovered - especially my now favorite band....

Pink Floyd.

(Left to Right = Richard Wright, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Roger Waters - this is from the "Dark Side" era btw)
