I bought Nightmare of Druaga this moring from EB & was looking for a used game to get free shipping... then I saw lunar legends for GBA...

I already have the Sega CD version along with PS2 one also...

So is this game worth keeping?

it only ran me $11 after all the discount... so I can't go wrong...

If you like Lunar and aren't expecting anything other than a redrawn port, you'll be very happy. I loved it, of course.

gamepro sez:

"An interesting “abridged retelling” of Lunar: The Silver Star that’s missing a couple of the original’s most charming aspects...but it’s still a darn good RPG."

Horrid game. I really enjoyed the earlier Lunar games, but the GBA version is just awful. You can get through the entire game by setting it to auto battle. They phoned this one in, I guess Ubisoft was counting on diehard Lunar fans to buy it no matter what. This game is the reason I have serious doubts about Lunar DS.

Ruins the awful (but beloved) battle system and really just waters down everything about the original.

Sums it up pretty well IMO. It's also very easy.
