I'd love to give a mini review... but seriously, fuck this game, and fuck EA.
Got it for 19.99 from EB, and the damn thing won't even run. I get some Game.Dat error, which seems to be common, and EA has YET to provide any sort of fix for it.
Their technical support only told me to "uninstall the game, and reinstall"... well, no the damn thing won't even install at all.
Out of 100 PC games, it's ONLY ever been the EA games that completely fuck up. I guess I learned my lesson.
Does anyone have an email address to email EA tech support? I can't find one on their site at all, and now my backup registry won't import itself. I hate EA so damn much.

Well... I fixed the problem with this game.
In case it ever happens to anyone else - the game.dat error is largely caused by Samsung CD / DVD drives. Basacially, one of the tech support people on a forum (that wasn't even EA's) credited the problem to this, and basacially, in a nutshell, said "buy a new dvd-rom drive".
Luckily I was going to replace mine soon anyways.
For $20 dollars, this game is awesome, has a great LOTR feel to it, I think any fans of the movies will get alot out of this.
Campaign mode is nice and long with both good and evil, and all the movie's voice actors reprise their roles.
I love this style of gameplay, where building one unit actually gets you a small group of 5-10 people. Games like this and Dawn of War are a breath of fresh air from certain games were an "army" is considered 15 units. Having battles with 200 men per side is a good feeling.
Is anyone else enjoying this?

I would say about average.
It's based on the C&C Generals engine, so it's a bit of an older engine. The only thing I might see as a problem on some machines is the sheer amount of troops on screen at once... I think I once pushed 400-500 troops from three different sides having a three way battle.
I think if you can run stuff like Warcraft 3 and the aforementioned C&C Generals, you should be fine.

Yea, it definately has online modes... they've got some problems with the lobbies and game crashes, but they seem to be stable about 80% of the time.

Well... I found the only person that dosen't seem to be the same actor as the movie.
The VA in this game for Aragorn is REALLY off... he sounds like some kind of nerd, rather than a leader. His voice is very high pitched and nasal. I'm not sure if Orlando Bloom is doing Legolas, but if it's not him, it's surpingsly accurate.

Actually, from a review I read those are the only two (Viggo and Orlando) that didn't do voices for the game.
Also ordered it for $20 from EB. Probably gonna be getting it Monday though.

Well... the guy who does Legolas does it very well, sounds spot on like him.
I just can't get over Aragorn's voice... he kind of sounds like Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory =/
