This movie has been out in theatres for about 2 weeks now, and I watched Crash yesterday. Its about racial occurences happening between many races and this movie was pretty good. It kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie.. did anyone else watch this movie?

I'm looking for any similar movies that are just like Crash.. movies that make you think or basically have some sort of similar aspect with Crash..

Thanks

I liked Crash although I did not care for some aspects of it. I'd need to see it again to elaborate though. Overall, I thought it was good and would recommend it.

EDIT: I can't think of any movie similar to Crash right now, but I also liked "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "Big Fish"

One song really rang for me after this. It's from a musical called, "Avenue Q", called "Everyone's a little bit racist". Essentially, it entails how we are all just a little bit, but we try so hard to be PC that we neglect these inherit patterns.

The psychology of this turns everything we see into a tolerance, not an acceptance (those who have seen the stageplay of Angels in America are familiar with this concept). Problem is, tolerance is just one, big, happy, fuck you of a face. Get close enough, and that face comes tearing off. Crash picks apart the human responses to just these situations, and - from what I observed- shows how and why we need to get past this tolerance we all have into acknowledgment and acceptance.

Don't go expecting some edge-of-your seat event, this is straight up a movie for your mind, not your visceral senses.
