You can open ports via...

1) Firewall (external/internal)
2) Router

For a Firewall, you obviously access the program and type in ports (advanced firewalls, at least)

For a router, you enter your router's IP (usually 192.168.XXX.XXX), and apply the port-forwarding.

I'm pretty sure that a computer with no firewall/router has most (if not all) of its ports open.

The good thing about FLCL is that it's short enough to re-watch to figure stuff out. :D

We had two fucking power failures last night as I was about to go to sleep, and I can't really sleep if I see the power go out. It happened the first time at about 2:45 and didn't come back on until 3:30, then it went back out a few minutes later then came back on at 3:40. Pissed me off when it went off the second time because I had just gotten my clock, cable box, and vcr up and running after the pf. I just watched some of my DL'd Dragon Ball episodes of Goku in Muscle Tower fighting Ninja Murasaki (one of my favorite fights ever)
