Xenosaga II Problem

I have a ORIGINAL copy of Xenosaga II I bought from gamestop and I am having a problem with it. It never used to do this until recently.

At the title screen, where it says "New Game" and "Load Game", I try to select load game, but the cursor automatically goes up to new game. I use a wireless logitech controller, and this is the only game it happens with. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

i have that problem sometimes when i start a game, it's like my controller sticks and they satrt walking before i press anything. I usually rotate the analog and its gone. IT happened for xenosaga 1 for me too. Try not to hold or press anything when turning on the ps2.

yeah it's probably a problem with your controller. Maybe a good reset will do the job.

do you have the same problem with a wired controller?

It also happens with a game called "Rez" for PS2 as well. I figured out that it isn't the control sticks but the control pad.
