While the person is a moron, and known to be a major troll on the Gamefaqs boards, the legacy of the scam posts both past and present are begining to come back and haunt the site.
This makes CheapyD look bad, stifles support from legitimate businesses, and even presents the possibility of drawing even more theives and scammers to the board, thanks to the implication.

Cheapassgamer.com is very rapidly developing a reputation, and from the looks of that first post in that thread, it's beginging to be a very negative one.

Yeah, the guy is entirely lame, and a huge idiot to boot. It's just that it's vexing to see the CAG name tossed around where such things are talked about. Considering the proximity of both ideas in the statement, and the writers obvious lack of writing ability, I read into it a little and saw that as somewhat of an attack... and I hate when things like that are tossed around making this site sound like a place of ill repute when yourself, most of the posters here, and myself work so hard to provide such and unfriendly enviornment for those types of scams and fraud.

Actually you are allowed to make ONE backup copy of any DVD,CD,or game(if you have the means to do so).That one backup is for you and only you and if you distrubute it in any way then it becomes illegal.Other than that you can make one copy of anything you own and you are doing something perfectly legal. Video games are now going to start having an FBI Warning at the begining of games and CD's will now have FBI warnings saying the crap about distrobution and what not, because before it was much harder for componies to prosocute people on pirating videogames (other than copy write laws). I am not sure when this FBI Warning is going into effect but expect it sometime in the near future
