Chapter 2 I lost the flying knight in less then 3 moves. (forgot about their low hp)

Chapter 5: lost one of my better axe people Gracia or something like that.

seems not many cant Touch Seth only getting hit for 2-3 damage per turn

Overall i would give the game a C nothing really improved over the first one unless im still not that deep enough in it (only on chapter 5 X now , I guess that is a secert map cause of the X behind it??

Once you beat Chapter 20 is the game over and can you play though it again. If you can play though it again does the people carry over..

Saying if you had a level 40 person beat the game and played it again would that level 40 people start out on chapter 1

Ross is better than Garcia if you take the time with him. Much better.

That's because Seth is a Paladin, and you're only on chapter 5 where enemies are all weak classes with low levels.

The improvements won't rear their heads until at least 9, when the map opens up. Also, once you start upgrading your characters the class choices add a nice wrinkle to the gameplay as well. Your "C" is very premature.

I'd also say that you shouldn't go the Gamespot/IGN route of docking something lots of points because "not that much changed". If it's more polished (which this is) and just as enjoyable (which this is) then who gives a shit if it's not a drastic leap in gameplay.

Those are the same jackasses that will kiss the ass of Jak & Daxter or Ratchet & Clank as they release the same goddamn game every year with some slight improvements.

I'll let you know soon. I'm at 20 right now but am putzing around leveling my characters to lvl 20.

Dont use seth. My end game Seth was level 1, 6 exp. I never used the guy. I got screwed in the first game because I overused Marcus. Unarm him and use him to block doors while your low level guys used ranged attacks or something. Ewan was a pain to level up, but by the end of the game, he was unstoppable. Lute also did some major hurt for a while.

I finally got the game, but I'm only at Chapter 4. Any tips?

Fire Emblem 2? Isn't it 9?

Including Japanese versions, then it's pretty high, yes. But we're referring to the NA GBA releases.

This would be FE VIII in Japan.

Generally speaking:

Characters that start weak = good. They'll grow into gods among men.
Characters that start strong (pre-promoted) = bad. They don't have much growth potential at all.

When you get a Recruit, Journeyman, or Pupil, take extra good care of them. It's definitely worth your time. 8-)

why cant healers heal themself. ??

I was thinking about this the other day and came to this conclusion:

Additional challenge - it makes it much more dangerous to move your healer into conflict areas, so you have to plan more effectively to keep them protected. If they can heal themselves, eventually you could recoup any and all losses without cost (no vulnerary or elixer) AND get exp for it.

My advice is to not use the guys who are strong to begin with. If u can level up the weaker people in the beginning and evolve them, they'll become much stronger than the other ones. Like Lyn, hector, and eliwood in the original game.
